It’s a 1987 Chevy C30 crew cab, long bed, RWD, 454 BBC, auto trans.
The interior looks to be in good shape, there is some rust near the door bottoms, rockers, and bottom of the tailgate, but nothing that’s deal-breakingly bad. The undercarriage looks reasonably clean. It’s really cool old truck, but is his ask too much?
I say yes, if there was no body rust it might be worth that much but as it sits, I’m thinking closer to $3k. What say you, Oppo? Assuming it is in good running/driving condition otherwise.

I love square bodies and this is a nice tow rig configuration (so probably a billion miles?) But too much rust for $5k.

Yes 5k is too much,I would say it’s actual value is about 3k.

Check out a post I made a while back to see what a $6,000 square body looked like last summer.

Yeah, I love these and Sq uarebodies are climbing in value a bit, but that’s a strong ask. Somewhere between $3-4 is the number here. There are actually a lot of these crew cab duallies still put there.

Should be a little less. I have been looking at these a lot lately. $5000 should get you a pretty decent one.
